I started the campaign and it is a blast. You can see the full report at my blog: Flash and Thunder
BTW, I had one doubt during the game. A group of three Germans within 4" of one another. One if fired and he is down. Now, the other two soldiers do take first a Received Fire Test or a Man Down Test? I did first the Man Down and then, if they got a Carry on result, the Received Fire test. Is that correct? (I'm playing 2nd ed.)
Cheers,

I have played this campaign more than any other, just because it's so dang fun.
And I may be wrong, but I believe if they Carry on from Man Down, they would return fire because Ducking Back and the like is covered in the Man Down test, but I could be wrong, it's been a while.

So Received Fire Test is skipped for Man Down Test?

Very nicely done, looking forward to more AARs! I'm planning to play Blood upon the Risers, the big hurt and finally Peiper; so you'll see a lot

As the other two were within 4", they should take both or either Received Fire and Man Down. In this case, would they just take Received Fire then and not the man down, or both? Thank you!

Easiest way is roll the dice and apply them to both tests at same time.

I've painted some reinforcements for next scenario. They are IMEX 1/72 plastic figures.

And plastic? Even better. Yes, the traditional plastic box of soldiers. I just ordered a box of WWII American infantry from Italeri to play the big hurt after blood upon the risers. Cheers,
