I have had some very basic dice for years so I decided, seeing as I’m always rolling D6’s maybe its time to up the glitz factor. Hence these! Anyone else got some dice they like? Sorry if this is too geeky but we’re all geeks here right?

Those are some great looking dice! Mine are pretty blah, to be honest, but they get the work done - though the dice for my chaps seem to be jinxed today!

I use Chessex for all my dice rolling needs. Highly recommend them.

Sexy! Never, ever, apologize for being a geek. Who else gets to play with all these cool toys? I have several bricks (36 dice) 12mm in blue, red, green black, white. I can't recall if they are Chessex or Koplow. I did see at Books-a-Million two bricks of really sexy dice from Chessex: Blue/white pips translucent and Red w/black streaks/gold pips Gemini. I definitely purchased those. When playing THW and playing on the battle board (most of the time), I almost always use these dice to represent figures instead of minis or counters. I'll use a die to represent Rep, and I often add a second info die to represent target information (allows me to see what weapon it has). I indicate duck back by where I put the dice on the battle board. At the edge = duck back, off the board = out of the fight/obviously dead. Another gaming accessory that I consider essential is Koplow mini poker chips. I have 100 in each of 9 colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, black, brown, white. They are invaluable in so many games. I currently have Machinas on the table, and I use poker chips to mark cars as they take actions or resolve random events, as well as marking lap/position. I'm also using them to indicate +/- 1 to stats. I've used them with the battle board to mark out of the fight (red) or obviously dead (black).

I would show pictures of the dice I use, but they are being punished for not rolling the results I wanted in my last game. The nerve of them, thinking they can produce numbers at random!

I bought a bunch of different sets of Chessex dice in 3's so I could use them with Song of Blades and Heroes but with the new THW system, the max you roll is 3 dice so I'm all set! I have some more but this is an old pic!

Ok, you can't upload a picture if you choose the "Quick Reply" button. If you choose the "Reply" button or when you "Create a Thread", a menu bar appears at the top of the post with font choices and a row of buttons. In the third or last group of buttons, the third button is a picture icon - press this button and you will be prompted to add the URL of a photo.
Hope this helps.

What site do people most often use to upload their pictures to? I'm not seeing a gallery on this forum to upload to.

I use my blog which is on Wordpress. You can set up a Wordpress site for free and load your pictures to your site - you don't have to create a blog, you can just set up a page to hold pictures - whether you make that page public or private doesn't matter, it's just that when you upload a picture, you get that important URL address.
Anyway, I use pages or posts from my Wordpress site.

I’ll definitely check them out thanks. You’re right about being a geek but I do have moments of self doubt when I look at my mini’s on my battle board with dice everywhere and scribbled notes and think “Am I nuts?!”

How do I upload a picture? I've searched and failed to find anything. If you press the red reply button you can upload pics directly on this forum. Just press the pic icon below the Bold ‘B’ button. I think the size limit is 1 meg. If you need to crush an image quickly I like... Compress JPEG
