Hi all, is there any book that has stats for use in WHL or Talomir tales of more and larger creatures? Medusa, chimera, hydras etc (basically any Greek mythology/ D&D creatures)?
If not is is there anything on the horizon to look forward to in this regard?

Here's a WHL Medusa I did stats for a few years ago. If someone were to bribe me, I could do more: link

This is perfect. I’m game for a bribe if you do all the miniatures that come in mythic battles pantheon Kickstarter:). I’m serious. Don’t need the fluff just the rules and how they fit in the game.

It's pretty easy to build stats and abilities for Talomir Tales as I have done here, for example. I'd say the Hydras and Chimera would only be encountered one at a time, like a Mountain Giant. You can also add multiple abilities to each creature, for instance I would put a Gorgon leader at rep 6, AC 4, Warrior, Rage, and one of the poisons and just say your character is turned to stone.

What monsters do you need stats on? I have 5 days to work out some & then I won't be able to do any more until December, since all of my writing time in November will be devoted to NaNoWriMo.

For Minotaurs in Talomir Tales, I'd use the same stats as for Ogres, but replace the Slow Mover attribute with the Initiative & Rage attributes.

For giant creatures, you have to go all the way back to WH:A&A for a beginning point for stats.
A Giant Snake has a Rep of 5 (1-4) or 6 (5-6) and an AC of 4 (1-3) or 6 (4-6). If a character loses a round of melee to a giant snake, it stands a chance of being "poisoned." After the Melee is over, both the character and the creature (even if dead) roll 2d6 against their Rep. If the character passed more d6 than the snake then the character is immune to snake venom & never has to take the snake bite poison test again. If the character passes the same number of d6 as the snake, then the character is unaffected by the poison this time. If the character passes less d6 than the snake, the roll 1d6 on (1-3) the character is Out of the Fight & on (4-6) the character is obviously dead. Giant Snakes have the Slow Mover attribute.
Giant Birds have a Rep of 3 (1-4) or 4 (5-6) and AC 2 (1-3) or AC 4 (4-6). In Greek & Roman myths, birds are more often messengers & omens from the gods than vicious monsters. Giant Birds have the Free Spirit attribute.
Giant Boar - in Piathoe's Peaks, I gave the giant boar the same stats as a small demon, since such creatures are usually sent by the gods as punishment. Giant Boar has Rep 5 (1-4) or Rep 6 (5-6) & AC 6. Giant Boars have the Hard as Nails & Rage attributes.

Well, I play Amazons & in the Talomir setting their culture is that of Classical Greece, I'm. Also a history buff & I took Latin & Greek in College. Anyway, there are a lot of Greek elements in my games. I try to read the Iliad once a year & have a bookcase full of books on Greek history.
Gamewise, a lot of the creatures of Greek mythology have been done by GURPS, the D&D Monster Guides & the Pathfinder Bestiary, much of which can be found on-line. The trick of course is translating multiple D&D stats into THW's more concise Rep, AC & Attributes.

The reason there aren't more books is that fantasy isn't selling well at the moment. Both in book sales & gaming. I think after Game of Thrones finished & the collapse of Urban Fantasy for YA readers, folks are giving Fantasy a rest at the moment. I, myself, am concentrating on writing science fiction - just trying to find something that sells.
Hopefully this will change next year, because I do like writing fantasy. I'm not saying fantasy is dead, I'm just saying as a writer, it seems the genre will be slow over the next few months.
