Hello all,
are there any printable maps of Talomir?
Black and white prefered.
I found three on the blog, but they seem to require a lot of colour when printed.
Cheers,
Brisko

Here is a link to a png file of a map of Talomir that I have been working on for the past couple of months. TalomirMap I always like the style of map that was in Warrior Heroes: Armies and Adventures, and when Talimor Tales came out I was a little disappointed in the map that was provided. It was small and the font for the cities and provinces was very hard to read. So I embarked on a quest to try and make a better map. My biggest struggle has been finding map graphics that I like. I finally found/created some hill graphics that fit the style of the rest of the map and have gotten the map to a place that I like and willing to share. I couldn't upload the map here on the forum as it is pretty big, about 6MB. Not sure if I have everything spelled correctly as I was using the map provided in Talimor Tale: Distant Shores. If any one has any additional info, spelling corrections, additional locations, etc. let me know and I will update the map. Credits The map was created in Tiled Map Editor Version 2020.01.22 @ www.mapeditor.org/Main tileset used was RPG Overworld Tile set designed by Pita Madgwick @ pita.itch.io/rpg-overworld-tilesetHills are modified from a graphics mod package by Catfish for Civilization 2: Test of Time can be found @ users.tpg.com.au/jpwbeest/jp_terrain.htmMountain graphics were created?? by Tieris Illia for RPG Maker and found at illiaworld.wordpress.com/materials/

Thanks, 2D6vsREP! Classy job! I converted it to a pdf, but it's HUGE. 12+MB. Too big to attach here. StryderB, you want to put this on your G cloud too?

You can definitely can use it for personal use. Probably not for commercial use. Although I have not contacted any of the people officially about using any of the graphics as I was really only creating this for personal use. I did purchase the main tileset (RPG Overworld Tile set designed by Pita Madgwick) from itch.io and can officially use them in a commercial project. The mountain graphics created by Tieris Illia say under her terms of use that they can only be used in RPG Maker Engines, but are free for both commercial and non-commercial purposes. Although she has a Creative Commons Attribution – Non-commercial 3.0 Unported link and stamp in her terms of use. So there might be a problem there. The biggest problem will probably be the hills that I took from the Civilization 2:Test of Time mod by Catfish as I believe he credited them as originally created by Microprose who were the developers of the game. They might have a problem with someone using their graphics in a commercial product without compensation. I figured that as long as I am using their graphics in a personal project that I am distributing freely, and that Catfish was already using them in a mod that was being distributed freely, I was probably ok.

by the way if any one has more details about Talomir from a cartographers point of view, I'd love to know and continue updating the map. I made some guesses on what some of the symbols and areas meant or were referring too, and the image I was using as a reference was not the best resolution so some things might not be what they should.

Brilliant map. Possibly the best I’ve seen assuming all is present and correct. Thanks!

I made a D&D style hex map if you are into that style.
