This is pretty cool. If you have some money to spend I recommend purchasing a game called ‘Undaunted - Normandy’. It was a no brainer for me as it was 30% off on Amazon and is quite cheap to start with. Its playable solo but its officially only a 2 player game of card driven WW2 skirmishing. The reason I’m posting it here is because it has amazing tiles of town, village and countryside that you can use to represent a 3x3 map to travel through that will be great for many 2HG’s. check it out! I added the meeple and PEF tokens from my collection for the example. Wicked! I can honestly say that realising I could use the tiles for say 95th was possibly more exciting than the game itself!!

How does it play solo? Are the decisions obvious for the AI?
It's hard to play another solo man to man combat game when Nuts! and FNG are already so good.

I wouldn’t recommend it above those games (and I certainly wouldn’t be posting that sort of thing here) but its fair to say its completely different. Its more abstracted, It uses deck building and its very quick to learn and play. The opponent decisions are fairly obvious but I’m working on a basic flow chart to speed up my games. I only mentioned it because of the superb tiles and their usefulness for Ed’s games. I bought it for £21 which is a real good deal. If you can find it for something similar I recommend it for the tiles (and a quick two player game). boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/268864/undaunted-normandyI have FNG and UW. They are superb. I just happen to love deck building as a mechanism so it scratches a different itch.
