Well done bat rep. The paper counters look great in the photos. This game is on my list to play soon.
What app did you use?

Well done bat rep. The paper counters look great in the photos. This game is on my list to play soon. What app did you use? I used Comic Life 3. An iPad app I bought years ago. It used to be quite challenging to run but my new iPad handles it easily. That said it was quite a bit of work to get it right. I was inspired by your excellent FNG report. I looked at the app you used. It looks good but its a bit expensive. Ed pointed me towards the Sharpes Rifles TV series when I bought 95th. If you haven't seen it I recommend it as it brings the game to life. I don’t really know Napoleonic history so it’s a great primer!

Looks like you had fun and as usual the game mechanics took you down an unexpected road, this one tough.

In the past I have tended to slow my game down by adding story elements as I go. I did it different this time. I just played the game straight and then noted down little narratives sparingly to give it some life. It worked well. I played the entire campaign pretty quickly. Its all too easy for me to get lost in the detail but I’m getting better at it.

I do like the comic book AAR's, obviously. For the reader, it's quick and interesting. For the writer, "a long and winding road". ;-)
