Hello Everyone,
I was UrzaMight in the old forums and had made some posts for ATZ and WHL and a few modifications that i am still working on (Merceneries WHL add on ala Black Company, Buffy/Angel verse mod for LR/LTL/ATZ) and hope to post some updates soon (Bar exam kept me busy, but it is over now).
So, when i was running a LR game, i realized that the charter generators are very different than the ones used for LTL and Future Tales. In particular, i noticed that there is a 1 equals X and 6 equals Y modifier next to some of the various encounters under the Trait column. For example, 1 = Cng 6 = Agg next to civilian. Does that mean i have to roll and on 1 the NPC will get that skill and on a 6 the other skill and any other result = no trait? I get the rest of the tables but this one puzzled me as NPCs are supposed to have 2 traits each.
Thanks in advance for any advice as how to handle this.
Best

Hello Ed,
Thank you for the quick reply. I decided to use the overall instructions in Lovecraft's revenge to create random, custom made NPCs via commands in a spreadsheet. Someone made a special spreadsheet that can handle tables for RPGs, and the things it can do are amazing. I can then use those NPCs as the specific "civilians" etc that the Contact tables call for via the spreadsheet's link-tables- commands.
I can post here or wherever is appropriate the spreadsheet if anyone wants to use it, in its vanilla form ie. without any THW specific tables. But i can provide tips on how to add THW tables in it and how to use it. It can really help with loading PEFs, handling NPC generators etc. I even created a Quest generator for Future Tales with it and it generates everything, down to the Big Bad and his minions!
