Hi guys, I have found a bag plenty of 10mm Magister Millitum 10mm soviet troops. I am not very sure about how to organize them, I have thought that could be great if you would share here photos of your armies for Nuts Big Battles, in 15mm, 10mm or 6mm. Or just plubish here your army lists, to have an idea of how could I base mine.
Thanks in advance.
I have read the ruleset and says that russian before 1944, could have one or two additional stands in each platton, so, my plan for a company is something like that:
Company A Company Commander Stand
Infantry Platoon 1: 4 stands + Mortar. Infantry Platoon 2: 4 stands + Large Bore ATR. SMG Platoon 3: 5 stands (No support Weapon). Company support Weapon: Tripod Mounted Machine Gun.
Heavy Support: 1 BA 64 +4 M3Scout Car.

I suggest basing it Flames of War style (I've seen this kind of organization on 2HW blog). Here are the force diagrams for Soviet infantry 1944 - should be historical. 4-5 infantrymen on medium base, 2-3 infantry command teams on smaller base. FoW base sizes are here.

Thank you, I can see your point, in fact I have some of the FOW books, the only issue that I can found is that the organizations are different from that NUTS proposes, for example:
In FOW one Squad is formed by two teams, but in NUTS is just formed by one stand, so, we must divide by two the number of the teams. The other issue is that the weapons platoons are outside of the infantry platoons and their number is not the same compared with what NUTS stablished...
Here we can get two HMGs by section, joining two sections to have a platoon, what doesn't exist in NUTS. To my mind, we can choose a HMG or mortar, to be added to the infantry stands as a weapon support.
Summarizing, I am of the thought that your proposal is very interesting and useful applying the reductions that I have said.
As I am interested in creating a Razvedki Company, I am going to use this organization:
Attending to your comments about the stands, I prefer to use round and small stands since I am going to play in a smaller area, hence, I prefer smaller stands.
Thanks a lot for your comments.

Oh yeah - you're right! I don't play Big Battles - just thought it would work. Nice work on the figures, looks great for 10 mm minis!

I just started playing Nuts! big battles from Flames of War. I thought the same thing, about using the structures from Flames. Those minis are pretty awesome, good work! Thank you, I can see your point, in fact I have some of the FOW books, the only issue that I can found is that the organizations are different from that NUTS proposes, for example:

Summarizing, I am of the thought that your proposal is very interesting and useful applying the reductions that I have said. Notice that for the HMG for flames of war, you can make combat attachments. So, you can throw those HMGs into other platoons. Then it's basically the same. For the mortars, the 8cm mortars are big and represented in off-board artillery. The platoon support mortars are the 5cm mortars that most countries had earlier in the war. If anyone has a way of using Flames of War organizations without breaking the game, let me know. I it'd be easy enough to have two stands for every squad, but having 3-5 tank models in every tank platoon would be overpowered.

Been using my 6mm figures originally done for use with Sam Mustafa's Rommel rules. 60mm x 40mm bases.
