I don’t have Morale Napoleon but don’t worry about asking more questions, however dumb you think they may be. Everyone on this forum is decent and we’ve all asked dumb questions at some point or other!

I wish I could help. I have Muskets & Shakos which is a division and battalion level of operations whereas Morale Napoleon is an army and corps level game. Troops that may perform well in smaller engagements could well be terrible troops in larger formations. For example at a battalion level, Spanish guerillas perform as well as regular line troops but at a larger scale they may perform more like militia.
Ed and/or Bob will be able to address Spanish troop quality, though I have heard rumors Ed may have a strong bias for the Portuguese! Lol

No worries; yes, use 14.5 to generate the Spanish. I would not use militia or guerrillas, but the regular army instead.
