Hello,
I'm new to this forum and I'm hoping that someone can help me out with these questions related to FNG Tour of Duty. Any help would be very much appreciated.
1) p.25 Return Fire "The Character is allowed to return fire on whoever shot at it up to its maximum Target Rating".
Let's say that the character is shot by enemies A, B, C, D, and E. The character miraculously survives and now gets to return fire. The character has a weapon with a Target rating of 4. According to the rule, can the character fire at A, B, C, and D (four targets) using one roll on the Shooting Table? Do they have to be within 4 inches (arc of fire)? In addition, could the character just concentrate all 4 shots on enemy A (if they wanted to)?
2) p.25 Return Fire " Can only fire once at any charger. Cannot exceed the number of shots for the weapon regardless of the number of chargers fired at."
Does "Can only fire once at any charger." mean that "the character chooses one charger and then performs a swath with his rifle possibly hitting other chargers and distributing shots in any way he wants (e.g., two shots against 1st target, one shot against second target, one shot against third target)" or does it mean "one shot per charger and shoot a number of chargers equal to the Target Value and within the arc of fire of the weapon"? Or does it mean something else?
3) p.25 Throwing a Grenade. "Now roll on the Shooting Table normally." I'm assuming this means one roll (total) for all the targets in the blast. I'm not sure how to interpret the results in the case of a grenade. For example, if enemies A, B, C, and D are in an open space and caught in the blast template of a grenade, in the case of 2 successes that means they take one hit each (seems the most feasible outcome). In the case of 1 success, only the first target gets hit and the remaining three enemies are fine and get to return fire at the grenade thrower. In the case of zero successes, none of them are hit and all enemies return fire at the grenade thrower. Is this interpretation correct?
I wondered whether each target should require a roll on the Shooting Table, that is, in the case of four targets, that would be four separate rolls on the Shooting Table.

4) p.23 Claymore Mine. "When detonated, targets within an 8” circle are at risk. Roll once on the Shooting Table (page 73) for each figure.
First, in the case of a claymore, do I roll using the REP of the character who set up the claymore?
Let's say three enemies are caught in the blast template. I'm assuming I now make three separate rolls. If all enemies are in the open, that would mean two successes or one success would be a hit. In the case of zero successes, that's a miss and Return Fire. Do they return fire at the person who remotely triggered the claymore (seems a bit strange)?
Anyway, I'm planning on playing a game with these rules over the summer and it would be great if I could clear up some of these points before the game.

Thanks for your time.
