I wanted to start a new game of NUTS! (yes, I'm still stuck in my FV) and was going to use Roll20.net in lieu of my gaming table since all of my paper scenery went into the recycling bin during my move.
*sniff*
Anyway.
Does anyone know of a site that has overhead shots of good Normandy-style terrain? I tried to use something by taking shots of Google Maps, but it's hard not to get an occasional car in there. Actual war maps are filled with icons and arrows all over them.
My Google-fu is failing me.
Thanks!

That's precisely what I did. I roamed around Normandy France with Google Earth until I found a suitable area that had what I wanted.
If you look around you'll find authentic Terrain with roads fields hedgerows Etc
You can see what I came up with with the subject line here "map scale."

Thanks, I'll keep scanning around there. I snagged some people's ASL maps and blew those up, but the scale is way wonky (and pixelated).
I also may just go to my old standby....drawing on the screen.
