1.If a figure is already in cover when receiving a duckback result would it move out of said cover 6" away to different cover or stay put?
2. If a figure has no cover within 6" but could break LOS with the enemy would the figure go prone in place or move to break LOS?
I suppose what im asking with question #2 is would breaking LOS also be a goal of a ducking back figure say moving around the side of a hill or deeper into a wood or tall crop field
thanks for any response or answers

Perfect timing. 1.If a figure is already in cover when receiving a duckback result would it move out of said cover 6" away to different cover or stay put? Stays put. Duck back is get into cover, break LOS. If have cover, then stay there, duck down so can't be seen or see.2. If a figure has no cover within 6" but could break LOS with the enemy would the figure go prone in place or move to break LOS? I suppose what im asking with question #2 is would breaking LOS also be a goal of a ducking back figure say moving around the side of a hill or deeper into a wood or tall crop field Taking these examples into play then move as these will provide cover, out of LOS, whereas prone does not. Hope this helps.

If a someone goes prone due to being unable to duck back into cover, therefore not breaking LOS, when will an insight test be taken again? The two opponents are still in view of each other

If the figure went Prone because he had no where to go on a Duck Back result...then no, by definition. Otherwise, yes, they'd scramble to their feet and get behind cover.
