Here’s a pic of my setup, optimised so that I can cram loads of stuff on my small table. I’d be fascinated to see other peoples table of stuff!

Love the setup. I'm still awaiting my printed copy of the new 5150 content, so I haven't put that version of the rules into action. I have the Loke battle mats, and even use them in table-top mode using counters and measuring each square = 2" (3" diagonal). I also see you have the Gamemaster Apprentice deck, which is excellent. I purchased all of the genre decks, but I find myself using the generic deck most of the time when I use it. I seem to use a different setup each time I play. I may need to gather all my accessories and lay them out on my table to take a pic or two (or twelve) so you can see what I've used over the nearly 8 years of playing THW. Finally, tea!!! I know that as an American that I'm supposed to drink coffee, but I drink a cup of hot tea each morning, cycling green/oolong/black during the week. I'll drink iced tea during the rest of the day. Testing to see if I can include a picture. Ok, so top to bottom: (1) table containing all the items I've used over the years (minus the rule books, of course); (2) Chessex wet erase battle mat (rolled up), and a set of mat cards I created in Microsoft Publisher using generic shapes to represent terrain; (3) Excel worksheet I created to generate NPCs, plus randomized d6 rolls. I used this at a battle mat as well, typing character stats.

Ok, I think I can add pictures (see above), so here are some other closeups: Top to bottom: (1) Battle mat (bottom) using counters. The top represents a tabletop. Imagine this divided into 9 sections, just as you would on a table. I have a blue chip to represent objective, yellow chips for PEFs, and green chip for my unit. (2) Regular battle mat using dice for rep/target. This is probably my most common way to play. (3) Various solo RPG decks, plus THW decks.

Finally, Loke Battle Mat using wooden circles I created. Numbers = Rep 4, Shapes = Rep 3, Stars = Rep 5. Yellow chips are PEFs. Movement using 2" per square/3" diagonal. Attachments:

Great setup. Would you mind uploading that excel to Google Drive and sharing the link? Would like to fiddle around with it.

Thats an awesome set up! I like your re-scaling idea to use the battlemats for table top play. Also, how do you use the Mythic cards when playing? I use the GM’s Apprentice cards for the oracle and complex question key-words mostly.

I don't quite understand this thread. If I were to take pictures, I'd have to take photos of an entire messy room of tables, cabinets, bookshelves & storage bins. I mean its 30 years of miniature gaming hobby.

Great setup. Would you mind uploading that excel to Google Drive and sharing the link? Would like to fiddle around with it. Haven't used Dropbox much except for storing files, so hopefully you can download and then edit offline. Let me know if you have any problems via private message, and I'll try to get it working. www.dropbox.com/s/rw5zuhmsdhrftii/THW%20Six%20Gun%20Sound%20NPC%20Generator%20with%20data%20cleared.xlsx?dl=0Important notice: in order to protect the intellectual property of THW, I replaced actual data from the rulebook with generic data. Because of this, I'm not certain how helpful this file will be. This workbook was built around the 2016 edition of Six Gun Sound. Finally, the only thing this workbook was designed to do was generate NPCs and random d6 rolls. I manually handled all other activities, such as logging NPCs, handling interaction and combat, and pairing off figures battle board style.

Thats an awesome set up! I like your re-scaling idea to use the battlemats for table top play. Also, how do you use the Mythic cards when playing? I use the GM’s Apprentice cards for the oracle and complex question key-words mostly. I really only use the Mythic cards to generate nouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs. I will only do this in pairs, such as verb/noun or adjective/noun; to describe locations, items and NPCs. I like the word selection in the Mythic much better than the words used in the Apprentice deck. I have my own yes/no oracle using two differently coloured d6 that I prefer to the Mythic deck, and I'm not able to make the other aspects of the card work the way I like. The Adventure Crafter deck takes some getting used to and is pretty complicated, but it can really develop a very interesting adventure setting that goes beyond "find the cat and feed it." The Apprentice deck contains a lot of more specific type information that I love, such as sensory information, belongings, etc. I'll just randomly determine which part of the card I'll use before drawing.

Awesome to see someone else using Mythic to add to their adventures. Just used a bunch of stuff from Wordmill to help pad out my ATZ: Evolution game yesterday. Full playthrough here, if you like.I got a Job Offer for a Takeback encounter, and wanted to know what kind of location I was taking back, so I asked Mythic for some details and got "Gladly Mature." That put two things into my head, so rather than pick one, I got details about the person offering the job and used the Character Crafter from the Adventure Crafter book: Villainous Lackey - Rough. So, um, the guy turned out to be a low level drug dealer who was a bouncer at a sleezy strip joint, and that's where he was hunkering down when some misadventures let some zombies in, and now we had to take it back for him. I would have never thought of that on my own. Thanks Mythic!

That's what's it all about. Using various tools to build the Stories and your games.

Thats very cool. I get the same stuff from my GMs Apprentice decks. I don’t have a problem with the keyword selection but I agree the mythic words are a little better. The plus side is the theme of the decks. I have fantasy and sci fi as well as generic. I also have adventure crafter. I use it to create the background of the adventure and sometimes to drive every voluntary encounter. havent read the play through yet but I will.
