Interested in how you play your THW games. Tabletop? Battle Board? Both?

Depends on the game - battle board for New Beginnings & WHAT; table top for Nuts! & any of the Colonial rule sets.

Battle Board for me 95% of the time, with Nuts! being the exception where I play tabletop.

BB mostly. For games like Nuts, I use the Tabletop, or rather living room floor, as it gives me more room.

I voted for Battle Board, because that is how I primarily play. However, I have a Chessex wet erase battle mat and several books of Loke Battle Mats (excellent!) that I've used as well in tabletop style. When I do switch to table top, I'll use the classic reaction system (received fire/man down/etc. with leader die), because I love the dynamic way the action emerges.
I don't use miniatures. Instead, I'll proxy with counters, tokens (I have numbers attached to them to distinguish them), and even use small dice with the Rep face-up. I do this with both battle boards as well as battle mats.
Another neat addition I've recently implemented: you know that the modern table top method treats the table as 9 different battle boards. Inspired by the excellent THW board game line, I'll set up a second battle board above the first to serve as the representation of the table top. I imagine it in 9 sections, and I place mini poker chips to represent my units and the PEFs. I'll roll activation dice and move the chips on the "table top." When PEFs resolve, I'll place the resolved units on the main battle board to conduct Interaction and Confrontation. I've even come up with some neat house rules that make movement on the "table top" more interesting:
* extra 3 PEF chips in reserve that will come onto the "table top" if doubles are rolled on activation and there are fewer than 3 PEFs on the table
* while I deploy the original 3 PEFs using the d6 per usual, I'll deploy the reserve chips onto the board with two 1/2 d6 rolls. The first 1/2 d6 = column and second = row. So a converted 1/2 d6 rolls of 2 then 1 would be the second column, first row = section 2.
* if this is a raid or defend, I'll place a mini chip that represents the objective in section 2 or 8 respectivly
* After deploying my unit chip and PEF chips, if this isn't a raid or defend, I'll randomly determine the section to deploy the objective token using a 1/2 d6 (so it will only appear in sections 1-3). This might represent the bar where I'll have my chill encounter, the location of an NPC I'm trying to find, etc. If I can begin my activation in the section without any PEF tokens in that section, then I'll give myself a reward that I determine before playing. For example, a reward might be +1d6 for each PEF still on the table (not counting PEFs still in the reserve area), or maybe I'll remove any PEFs not yet resolved.
* When PEFs move, they can move diagonally. However, I only allow my unit's chip to move up/down/left/right.

I play almost exclusively tabletop. My impression of the battleboard games I have done is that I might use them for small encounters in an RPG style campaign. For anything else, especially if shooting and maneuvring are important, I prefer tabletop style with its opportunities to move around, use cover, and the reaction results.

Tabletop only - I started playing with miniatures and scale terrain and never really got into Battleboards and counters

I appreciate having the option to play with a full terrain set up but these days, I'm a battle board man.

Sometimes I'll play entirely on printed battleboards, mainly for games that mostly take place indoors/ in urban environments like my current 5150 New Beginnings game. And sometimes, I'll abstract everything entirely, and just keep track of movement via text notes on my tablet, and represent combat with dice, the pip count representing REP and where they are in their stagger representing their state of ready, duck back, ooa, etc. I guess what I'm trying to say is I'll play any which way, long as I'm playing the game.

I enjoy painting miniatures so I like to use them. But, I do use a kind of battle board for games like Larger Than Life if it's an urban, cluttered setting. For Long Rifle and Nuts, I like to use the table with more open scenery.

I agree - I use Battle Board for Larger than Life and table top for NUTS!
