I am circling back to Urban Renewal, for serious. I hit a question on the Who Are They - Circles tables.
I get that if I get, say, "Net Runner (Z1)", it means that on 1/6 the net runner is a Zhuh. But it says "Net Runner (X1)(Z1)". I'm not sure how to interpret that.
Anyone know what Ed was thinking?

I believe the notation (X1)(Z1) means that the player rolls a D6. If the result is a 1, the character is a Xeog. On a 2-6, the player rolls a second D6, and if that result is a 1, the character is a Zhuh. Any other result means the character is a Basic. That's how I've been playing it, and the outcomes seem reasonable.

Okay, I like that. I know THW favors a "if it works, go with it" and this works for me. Thanks.

Yep, that's how it works.
