Did a large game of Colonial Adventures set in Colonial Lemuria. I took a lot of pictures, so I'm breaking the battle report into several parts. Death in the Jungle Part 1

How big is the table again? Lots of figures and looks really impressive.

It's only 4 ft. X 4 ft. - my breakfast nook isn't very big. A bit of creativity with the photos makes it look bigger!

That is truly impressive! I think you deserve some sort of award. I’ve only ever seen minis and terrain set up for sci fi or fantasy gaming. Your colonial set ups are a breath of fresh air.

I did win the award for the best miniatures game at Texicon one year with a Mission St. Mary game. The following years I was beat out by a 54mm American War of Independence game and the year after that a 10mm Napoleonics game. One of the years before I won, the award was won by a WWII game using Nuts!
i think I ran a Colonial game 3 years in a row. I have also run RRtK, RRtK:Historicals, Red Sun Black Moon and All Things Zombie: Evolution at conventions.
This sounds too boastful - I've been gaming with miniatures off and on for 30 years & when you've done it that long, you win an award here & there & you get brave enough to run a game for others to enjoy at a local convention. So, realize I've been collecting these things for a long time.

It’s totally okay to speak of your achievements. Especially when you’ve put in lots of time and effort. Well done! Of course, being stereotypical English I never talk of my achievements and feel oddly embarrassed when coaxed to do so. But I get it, its weird behaviour...

Here's part 3 which covers turns 3 & 4 of the game. Sorry it is taking me so long to edit the photos & create the posts. Again, it is picture heavy. Death in the Jungle - Part 3
