Hi, Figures are completed, I textured the bases. In the same time I added texture on (half painted) support weapons bases. Here's some bad night light pics :
a couple of better pics :
Yesterday I started to design movement trays in tinkercad software, and printed a sample in PLA : Still need a bit of work, but it will be usefull for gaming (especially games needing multibasing).

Hi, Here's a new printed vehicle, a M8 greyhound that I will use as my scout car. 15mm model scaled up to 20mm scale. Printed in ABS plastic, so I was able to smooth surfaces with acetone. It still needs a bit of final sanding.

I assume it's cost effective as opposed to retail?

thanks !
It's cost effective only if you have the machine available (I bought it for work first). The biggest issue is the time duration to print anything quite big (this M8 took about 5hours, a sherman with detailed tracks will take about 10-12 hours because of the tracks).
I bought my printer for around 500euros/550usd. But now it's cheaper, especially if you order directly from asia (wich I didn't do, since I wanted some after sale customer service). A kilogram of plastic wire cost around 20usd/euros. Wich is enough to print a lot of vehicles, but not so much scenery.
Best scenery (especially for fantasy and ww2) is not free most of the time. You have to buy the files online. Vehicles are most of the time free, but don't expect a result as good as a plastic model kit, even the "fast build" ones. You will obtain (with some post treatment) something similar to average quality resin model.
Last thing, a 3D printer (at least the cheapest ones) are not plug and play, you will have to level the printing plate, change nozzles sometimes, and be ready for some trial and error process, especially at the beginning.
I'd say finally that it's a good buy, but it will take time to become cost effective.
My printer is a Anycubic mega I3.

Thanks for the information! A little daunting still.. Perhaps one day soon it will be feasible. You know how technology is.

Last vehicle printed for my US force, a 4th sherman, this time a casted hull instead of welded hull like my other tanks. Now it's time to finish painting my figures, and then paint the vehicles.

Nice painting. Will they be fighting Valiant Germans? If not, I'm keen to see how the Valiants scale-up against other manufacturers...
